Terroir is very important for wine, and ours in Čerević is outstanding.
The village of Čerević is located on the foothills of Fruška Gora, on the 1273rd kilometer of the Danube river.

Welshriesling or riesling italico, it's neither a riesling nor Italian, but a popular white variety in our wider region.
Tamjanika is an autochthonous white variety in Serbia, although very uncommon in our wine region of Fruška Gora.
When we were planting our new vineyard across the road, we ordered Welshriesling vines.
It's a turbo-coupage of 13 or so varieties from our oldest vineyard, with a prominent note of muscat hamburg, a variety that loves our terroir.
